The Mind Behind KJMoco

The foundation for KJMoCo’s meticulous approach to car customization and restoration was laid in two seemingly disparate fields: the farm and the consulting office.
Mitch Kjinserdahl’s hands-on experience began early, growing up on a farm where working with complex machinery was a daily necessity. This practical knowledge, combined with the lifelong influence of a car enthusiast father, instilled a deep appreciation for mechanical integrity and design.
This foundation was later sharpened by a unique academic journey, culminating in studies in Finance and Astrophysics. The pursuit of these subjects fostered an ability to see both the grand-scale vision and the minute details, a crucial skill for tackling challenging mechanical and artistic projects.
Mitch then entered the Oil and Gas industry as a consultant, where his role was to develop novel technologies and travel the world to manage their installation in remote, logistically demanding locations. This professional experience refined a world-class talent for solving complicated, high-stakes problems and executing projects with unwavering precision.
At KJMoCo, this diverse expertise is channeled into every restoration project. Mitch blends his mechanical aptitude, his problem-solving rigor from the consulting world, and his passion for automotive art to deliver artistic solutions for automobile restoration that are technically flawless and breathtakingly unique.
